Madison is known for its eclectic restaurant scene. Two unique areas containing many dining options within walking distance of the Monona Terrace and the conference hotels are the Capitol Square and State Street areas. Capitol Square is the area immediately surrounding Wisconsin's capitol. It offers some of Madison's finest dining options. State Street is a pedestrian mall that connects the Capitol to the University of Wisconsin. State Street contains unique shops, cafes and restaurants. |

Wisconsin Supper: Tailgate Beer and Brats Join us in the land of beer, brats, and cheese for a farewell get together and dinner at the University of Wisconsin's Memorial Union. Dinner will feature brats, chicken, vegetarian options, and all of the other foods expected at a traditional tailgate party. This will be a great opportunity to visit, dine, enjoy the University of Wisconsin setting along the shores of Lake Mendota, and plan for the next ANREP conference. |
