Description: Dixie Alexander, an Athabascan artist and beadworker, will guide you through the Morris Thompson Cultural Center's exhibits, which have just opened and are awe-inspiring. Dixie was the 'curator' of the traditional Athabascan artifacts in the exhibits and is extremely knowledgeable. You will then go upstairs where she will serve a traditional meal - including smoked salmon, fry breads, and 'eskimo ice-cream' – to compliment her short slide presentation and discussion with guests about her people and their traditional ways.
