The EE, Water Resources will work cooperatively with the International Water Institute (Institute), North Dakota State University (NDSU), the U of M Extension, the Institute’s Strategic Leadership Team, and other partners in the Red River Basin. This position will provide leadership, management, and coordination for watershed education program development and delivery in the Minnesota and North Dakota portions of the Red River Basin, with special emphasis on expanding the River Watch program. The shared mission of the Institute, the U of M Extension and NDSU Extension is to create learning partnerships that help adults and youth enhance their lives and communities.
Building basin-wide leadership for sustainable living in the Red River of the North Watershed is central to this mission.

This position is accountable to the U of M Extension Program Leader for program direction and performance evaluation. This position will provide regular reports to the Institute, NDSU, the Red River Watershed Management Board, the Minnesota Flood Damage Reduction work group and external partners on program planning, activities, and accomplishments achieved.
